Problem
Contour Clinic was relying entirely on organic Instagram growth and word of mouth to attract new clients. While the clinic had strong reviews and loyal regulars, there was no paid acquisition system in place - meaning new client flow was inconsistent and heavily dependent on the algorithm. The owner wanted a scalable, repeatable way to bring in new bookings for treatments like lip filler, anti-wrinkle injections, and non-surgical facelifts.
Approach
Audited the existing Instagram presence and identified the clinic's highest-converting treatment categories (lip filler, anti-wrinkle, skin boosters) to prioritise in campaign creative.
Built a Meta Ads campaign structure with separate ad sets targeting cold audiences (interest-based, lookalike from page engagers) and warm retargeting audiences (profile visitors, video viewers, website traffic).
Produced ad creative briefs tailored to each funnel stage - awareness creatives focused on transformation and trust, conversion creatives focused on urgency, offers, and direct booking.
Set up a lead generation campaign using Meta's native lead forms to reduce friction and capture enquiry data directly within Facebook and Instagram.
Implemented Meta Pixel on the clinic's booking page to track confirmed appointments and optimise for downstream conversions.
Iteratively tested headline copy, imagery formats (before/after vs lifestyle vs treatment close-up), and CTA variations to identify top performers within the first 3 weeks.
Refined targeting weekly based on CPL performance data, scaling the best-performing ad sets progressively.
Outcome
Meta Ads became a consistent, always-on source of new client enquiries for Contour Clinic. Within 8 weeks the cost per enquiry had dropped significantly as the algorithm optimised on real conversion data, and the clinic owner reported the booking diary being fuller than at any previous point. The campaign also grew their Instagram following as a secondary effect of increased paid reach.
